Experience Rainforest Life at ZSL London Zoo

PR Log (Press Release)Feb 08, 2010 – Rainforest Life will give visitors to ZSL London Zoo the chance to experience the sights, smells and sounds of London’s only living rainforest.

An experience set inside a living, breathing tropical forest filled with exotic species at ZSL London Zoo, Rainforest Life opens on the 27th March 2010.

Get close to cheeky red titi monkeys, glamorous gold lion tamarins and sleepy sloths as you walk through a land of tropical plants, misty clearings and entangled vines.

The Zoo’s new flagship experience for 2010 allows visitors to enter a living bio-diverse rainforest, and see both day and night under the forest canopy.

Families will have the unique opportunity to wander around a tropical rainforest canopy with no glass or bars between them, and the host of curious animals living in the treetops.

Wildlife explorers can then venture down into Night Life, a dark and mysterious world filled with nocturnal creatures. Catch a glimpse of the sneaky slender loris or spot a hidden scorpion.

The Rainforest Life and Night Life experiences are both opening in the Zoo’s Clore Rainforest Lookout exhibit.
